Oznoz for Educators is the hub for Big Bad Boo’s educational resources. It brings together our animated series, lesson plans, SEL and Citizenship frameworks, and assessment tools in one easy-to-use platform for educators, serving schools and children around the world. Through the Oznoz platform, educators can stream cartoons, access curriculum resources, deliver and track SEL and Citizenship skill measures, and receive targeted reports on student growth over time.
Big Bad Boo is a Canadian media and education company that produces award-winning cartoons and teaching guides aligned with CASEL, OECD, and UNICEF frameworks. Created by Disney creatives and development psychologists from Sesame Workshop, our shows air in more than 100 countries and over 40 languages on PBS, Disney, Discovery Kids, and other global networks, earning more than 50 international awards for storytelling, representation, and measurable SEL impact.
We partner with UNICEF and ministries of education in more than 15 countries to benchmark SEL, serving more than 3 million children worldwide, including over 1 million learners in post-conflict settings. In 2018, our 1001 Nights Life Skills and Civic Education program received the WISE Award for the most innovative educational program globally.
We also design validated SEL and school climate assessment tools with researchers from Oxford University and Schools2030 (LEGO and IKEA Foundations), used by schools around the world.
